Building On What We Have

     On a typical day within our community we drive over and past things that appear quite conducive to the senses.  I applaud each of you for the property beautification measures that reflect positively not just for your lot, but the entire community of Fairways of Woodlake II.  Onlookers frequently mention and recognize our community as a place held in high esteem.  Hearing statements of how our community is regarded by others, speaks volumes for the community minded people that reside and own property within Fairways of Woodlake II.  For these reasons, let us build on what we have.
     The association's perimeter wall is one of those things we may look beyond, unless it is damaged or altered.  These days the wall is seldom reported as problem, at least not as frequently as it was in the past.  "Building On What We Have" I believe the time has come to initiate steps to improve the perimeter wall's height, noise reduction qualities, and appearance.  Varying contractors and engineers have commented the feasibility of the existing structure to accommodate additional weight, design, and estimated cost to complete such a project.  More exploration is needed to ensure we approach this matter correctly and garner community support for this initiative.
     Street repair is the largest single-event expense we shall be confronted with at any given time in the future.  Street maintenance may be in the form of pothole repair, crack sealing, overlay, and elevation corrections.  "Building On What We Have" our latest street repairs are the results of the Congressional Homeowners' Associa
