Whether
homeowners are entertaining several guest, multiple resident
automobiles, or large vehicles we have all been inconvenienced by a
neighbors parking habits. Safety is compromised when these
conditions exist. Surely, it is not one's intention to
hamper emergency vehicles ability to ingress and egress, but it
does! Our narrow streets do not lend themselves to parking on
the street particularly on Legend Rock and Legend Point.
The covenant does not allow
overnight street parking of vehicles, but RVs and boats do have
exceptions under specific terms. If you have driven through one
of our neighboring subdivisions you would agree that street parking
reduces curb appeal.
Do the following if you plan to
have a large gathering at you home: inform your neighbors and request
parking, efficiently park in your garage and driveway, park vehicles
on one side of the street, double parking allowed on Congressional
Blvd, do not block driveways, cleanup after your guests, do not park
on lawns or sidewalks.
