As
stated in the Congressional Homeowners' Association (CHOA) December
newsletter article, "Building on What We Have" the
perimeter wall is a top priority. Unfortunately, we literally
can not build on our existing structure according to the reputable
companies contacted to date. No doubt each of you have received
your 2004 assessment notice; which indicates $500 is due as specified
in the notice. The strategy is to accumulate revenue earmarked
to complete a 7 ft. tall, all masonry perimeter wall
project. Here is a look at what has occurred so far:
"Building On What We
Have" it is time to improve the perimeter wall's height, noise
reduction qualities, and appearance. The car crash that
occurred on August 19, 2003, moved the wall improvement ahead of all
other initiatives conceivable for our neighborhood.
Northampton, Mission Hills Estates, and Fairways of Woodlake II
experienced a total of five vehicle crashes that severely damaged
their perimeter walls within the past four years along FM 78.
Four of the five involved extensive collateral damage and at least one
