Speeding
Richard Winn
CHOA Safety Committee Chairman

The holidays of 2003 seem to have come and gone so quickly.  I can barely remember when the season began and ended.  I must have missed it, this time.  Thank God for cameras.  Looking around us, our community seems to be growing at a very rapid pace.  With new buildings, business and people popping up everywhere; how in the world would one keep up with so much activity going around us everyday?
Keeping our homes and streets safe for our children and families is going to be a growing challenge for years to come.  Let's start now, by slowing down as we drive through the neighborhood.  Don't let speeding cause us to miss the most important thing in life; each other.  Just a reminder to myself, my friends, and neighbors plan ahead, slow down and be courteous to one another.

"The race is not given to the swift nor to the strong, but to the one that endureth until the end."
Ecclesiastes 9:11
